1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar

About 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

What To Do

Make the Cinnamon Syrup. In a pot add all the ingredients ( sugar, water; cinnamon).

While that is cooking in a large stockpot add apple juice – Each serving is 12 oz so heat up as much as you need.

Once the apple juice is heated and the syrup is done – add 3 Tablespoons of Syrup to 12 oz of Juice.

Stir – should look like

You can also purchase the cinnamon syrup instead of making it. Starbucks sells its big bottles for $8 and they last forever.

  • Towanda

Fresh ground nutmeg on top is a must!!!

Starbucks uses their own bottled Cinnamon Dulce syrup. They sell it to the public, I usually have to ask for the syrups. They use Tree Tops apple juice & Cinnamon Dulce syrup, whipped cream with drizzle of caramel.

[…] I love Starbucks caramel apple cider. I love coffee, but in the fall, I often get the cider instead because it is sooo yummy. I love the whipped cream and the caramel on top, and how it mixes with the cider as you drink it, making a cool and warm, yummy deliciousness in your mouth. I know, totally NOT proper English there, and from a former English teacher no less, but when it comes to cider, my brain goes out the window! Anyway, I found a recipe on pinterest the other day, and finally rounded up the ingredients to try it. If you would like the recipe, here’s the link to the blog where I found it. https://www.budgetsavvydiva.com/2012/04/copy-cat-recipe-starbucks-caramel-apple-spice/ […]

What can I do with any leftover syrup? Does it go bad, change consistency, etc.?

    • Angela

I was wondering the same thing. I’m guessing that you can store it in the fridge in a sealed container. Someone else might have another idea for something that works better.
