Stark County football scoreboard: Find out who won in Week 1 (2024)

Week 1 of the high school football season is wrapped upin Stark County .

it got off to a memorable start Thursday night.

Central Catholic and Fairless each rallied at home to force OT and then won in OT on dramatic two-point conversion plays — one making a defensive stop for the victory, the other converting on offense to win.

Friday featured no OT games and several running clocks. The big winner of the night? Perhaps GlenOak, which beat Shaker Heights in Scott Garcia's return as Golden Eagles head coach. GlenOak snapped a17-game losing streak overall and a 27-game losing streak to in-state opponents.
